We are told that, in life, it's the quiet people that you have to watch out for. Well that rule is no more true than with this week's Microtel Disc Golfer of the Week, Paul Wojcik.

Paul has taken a remote area in the south-central region of Pennsylvania and transformed it into a vibrant disc golf locale. And much of the success that disc golf is now enjoying at the Gifford Pinchot State Park has been due to the selflessness and "political" savvy of Paul Wojcik, who has not let the challenge of managing personalities get in the way of bettering our sport.

Perhaps Jason Munns, the player who nominated Paul, puts it best. "Paul has single handedly developed a 50+ member club in which democracy rules. He has continuously sacrificed unmentionable amounts of labor, time and money in the development of a championship caliber course in our local state park, jumping hurdles every step along the way. He smiles at his declining performance in events due to his lack of play. His lack of play is a direct result of his devotion to the sport in its purest sense."

It is because Paul is, as Jason Munns describes it, "...a man who would rather develop the interest and skills of others in the sport than use his time for his personal advancement," that we honor Paul Wocjik as this week's Microtel Disc Golfer of the Week. Congratulations Paul.
