Larry Bledsoe Named Microtel Disc Golfer of the Year

The tournament director for the Bowling Green Amateur Championships, Larry Bledsoe, was named the Microtel Disc Golfer of the Year on October 2nd at the United States Disc Golf Championship Players meeting in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Though Larry was assisted by numerous other volunteers to host the 724 players who converged on western Kentucky on the March 31st-April 1st weekend, Larry's leadership, dedication to the Ams, and disc golf spirit all combined to make Bledsoe the winner for the inaugural award.

Congratulations Larry on this distinguished honor! You certainly carry the spirit of disc golf with you wherever you go.
